Mobile Crushing and Screening improves efficiencies on ‘Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement’ material
The main advantage to using ‘Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement’ (RAP) materials is that less liquid asphalt cement is required. This helps save on cost. But correct sizing of the RAP material is paramount. On some highway construction projects in Texas where crushing of the RAP is not permitted, contractors have turned increasingly to using McCloskey Screeners. Not only do they produce the correct sized finished product, the McCloskey Screeners are often more production efficient than some of the other closed circuit crushing and screening units currently used.
