Gyradisc Crusher operating-cost-per-ton of sand includes liners, maintenance and power draw. The liner cost is related to the abrasive characteristics of the material being crushed and the surface moisture. Average liner costs are between $.03 and $.06 per ton of sand. Proper maintenance, excluding liners, will result in costs not exceeding $.01 per ton. Power consumption will be in the area of 3 kwh per ton of sand. The following charts show typical sand circuit gradations for limestone, gravel, and granite.

 At the beginning of 2006, a new primary crushing plant was installed at the works of cement producer Tvornica Cementa Kakanj D.D. Kakjanj in Bosnia Herzegovina, supplied and commissioned by Liming . In this cement works, which is member of the Heidelberg Cement Group, limestone from three different quarries is processed to produce two different mixes. The new equipment was supplied for integration into parts of the existing plant.
